Little speckled frogs have been selected to take part on a 1-year wellcomm project aimed to establish the speech and language toolkit in the setting, this will allow Little Speckled Frogs to undertake training from NHS trust speech and language therapists.
“The early identification of any speech and language difficulty or delay is key to the progressive development of a young child’s overall development, it is there for essential to ensure that all early year’s practitioners have a good awareness of what represents appropriate development at each stage and have access to programs that assists them to support children’s language.” If you have any further questions regarding the wellcomm project please do not hesitate to speak with either Neisha or Laura.

We have noticed that the children have recently been a lot more interested in the reading books since they have been taking them home to read with their Parents/Carers and families. This is lovely to see and encouraging. Thank you to those who have been reading with their children, we love seeing all the comments. For those who haven’t yet returned the books to nursery, please do so on your earliest convenience.
